What Is The Dark Web, Darknet, Deepweb?
The darkweb is a collection of websites that operate anonymously using encryption software. It is impossible to identify the authors of a site or a message.
The darknet is a computer network that is not indexed by search engines.
The deepweb is accessible with any device connected to the internet via a compatible web browser.
How To Access The Darknet?
- By downloading Tor: the software is available on MacOS, Windows, Linux and Android. It can be downloaded legally and for free .
- By using the Brave web browser which has Tor built-in natively in the dedicated private browsing mode.
How To Browse The Dark Web?
To navigate inside the darkweb, you can either use the alternative search engine to Google DuckDuckGo or go without a browser and go to a directory dedicated to the darknet like HiddenWiki which will list many sites accessible via the deepweb.
For the second option, pay attention to your use, we share this information with you for purely informational purposes but you can very quickly switch to illegality by using a directory dedicated to the darknet.

How To Go To The DarkNet From A Computer (Windows and Mac) With Tor?
To go to darknet sites, there are two main methods but both are linked to a common element: the opensource Tor browser .
When you run the Tor Browser for the first time, you will see the “ Connect to Tor ” window.
This will give you the option to connect directly to the Tor network or configure the Tor browser for your connection.
There is a checkbox that asks you if you always want to automatically connect to the Tor network, if so, check the box.
In most cases, choosing “Connect” will allow you to connect to the Tor network without further configuration.
Once clicked, a status bar will appear, showing the Tor connection progress. If you’re on a relatively fast connection, but this bar seems to hang at some point, check out the Troubleshooting page on the official Tor website for help fixing the problem.
Or, if you know your connection is censored or using a proxy, you’ll need to click “Tor Network Settings” to adjust the settings.
How To Configure The Tor Browser?
If you need to do advanced configurations, the Tor Browser will guide you through a series of configuration options.
The first checkbox is Quickstart. If this option is selected, each time you open the Tor Browser, it will try to connect with your previous network settings.
The second checkbox asks if you want to use a bridge. If you know your connection is censored, or if you tried and failed to connect to the Tor network and nothing else worked, select “Use a bridge”.
This will display the “Bypass” section to configure a pluggable port or to connect using bridges.
